Event Volunteer: We hold adoption and fundraising events multiple times each month and are always looking for extra help! As a volunteer, you’ll get to spend time with our adoptable dogs and fosters during the event, while also assisting with answering questions about our organization and the dogs looking for their forever homes.
Supply/Donations Coordinator: Our Supply Coordinators play a key role in working with the Care Team to manage inventory, restock supplies in the feeding room, and prepare foster bags with everything dogs need when they head to their foster homes. Ideally, this position would be filled by someone who can visit our Animal Paws location in Spring Valley at least twice a month and is comfortable communicating through text, email, and using Google Drive. The role typically requires about 1 hour per week of in-person volunteering, along with ongoing communication and tracking of inventory and other details via Google Drive.
Transporter: Many of our transport needs involve getting foster dogs to and from their vet appointments, which are currently located in Mexico. Additionally, we often have dogs that need transportation to our events when their foster is unable to bring them. While transporting may not seem as exciting as adoption events, it offers a unique opportunity to spend quality, one-on-one time with the dogs and build a personal connection with them that’s truly rewarding.

Donate supplies:
Many rescues have wish lists on Amazon or other platforms where you can purchase items like food, bedding, toys, and cleaning supplies.

Spread awareness:
Share posts, stories, or fundraising campaigns on your own social media or within your local community.
Create partnerships:
If you have a network of people or businesses, help connect the nonprofit with potential partners, sponsors, or collaborators.
Educational Outreach:
Help create educational materials or content to raise awareness about adoption, proper pet care, or spay/neuter programs.
By offering time, resources, or your unique skills, you can still make a meaningful impact from afar.
