Fostering is the backbone of animal rescue. Without foster homes, cats and dogs in need of a second chance face very bleak futures. Being a Foster Carer can be challenging but knowing that you have helped change an animal’s life for the better is incredibly rewarding. Placing animals in foster homes allows us to get to know them and identify what sort of homes they are best suited to. Sometimes the need for a temporary home can be as short as one week or on other occasions it can exceed several months. All veterinary expenses are covered by Happy Paws and donated food, bedding and other supplies are available where possible.
